A workshop was held in Dooars for sustainable growth of small growers by encouraging intercropping by other commercial crops such as Pepper, Amla(Indian Gooseberry), Arica nut etc. Also Dairy as an alternative source of income and also to encourage organic farming using the by product from Dairy like cow dung, cow urine and panchaganya cocktail made out of Dairy waste. Once there foeld is unproductive after 50yrs and they are forced to do replanting, these alternate crop can sustain them during gestation period of Tea.

Training program was conducted for Female Tea Workers focussing on Health and Hygiene in relation to menstrual well being with deeply subsidised menstrual care products.
Second edition of tea garden caddies at Chulsa Polo Club - a par 71 course. Winner best score of 73 Gross with Runners Up at 75. That is a score of just +2 and +4 considering players play with bare minimum clubs. Rs.5000 Prize Money for Winner and Rs.3000 for RunnersUp. Over 50 clubs were donated at the event. 👏
No single organization exists today which can give a 360* view of the industry and take an independent view on policy matters. Unfortunately each body, either of producers or workers or buyers talk of their own interest and cannot take an independent view of the industry. Tea Vision aims to change that and inspires sector participants to Create an industry that will be vibrant, sustainable and for the good of all stakeholders.

Driving a MISSION to Bring all stakeholder's issue on one table and provide solutions in the interest of all for a sustainable livelihood, be it workers, small or organized sector producers, buyers, brokers and consumers.
The tea industry in India is more than 150 yrs old and the only plantation industry, which has done itself good, yet has unique set of challenges. There are several factors that impact its annual functioning. From labour concerns to bush ageing to so much more. It is critical to develop a far sighted view, and form opinions based on strong experience and clarity of thought. One which we provide.

Mr.Dewan is an ex-Army officer and 1969 batch IAS officer of the Andhra cadre and retired as Chief Secretary. Post retirement he was chairman of AP Tourism Development Corporation and has been a former MLA from Darjeeling.
Mr.Das has been Chairman, Tea Board of India. During his tenure he introduced Plantation Subsidy Scheme, that greatly impacted quality initiatives in the sector with owners taking large scale replantation. He also served as Chief Secretary with Government of Assam.
Mr. Bannerjee has had a deep impact in the Tea Industry; during his tenure as Tea Board Chairman he was responsible for reforming the auction system and was instrumental in driving quality upgrade initiatives. He has also served as Chief Secretary, Government of West Bengal.
Mr.Siddhartha is IAS from Bengal Cadre serving West Bengal & Ministry of Commerce, Govt of India. He held charge of Tea Board in 2013-14 & spent considerable time in tea regions of North Bengal & Darjeeling playing an important role in establishment of small growers.
Mr.Ghatowar has been a five time Member of Parliament from Assam. A former Minister of State in the Union Cabinet, Government of India, he is a renowned Trade Union Leader who has championed the cause of tea workers for over 40 years.
Mr.Dharmaraj has been Chief Executive & Whole Time Director of Harrisons Malayalam Ltd, managing their Tea & Rubber Plantation Business. He brings with him 46 years of industry experience helming key roles in the past like that of President of UPASI.
Mr.Singh has been an integral part of the Indian Tea Industry for over 40 years.He has been the Managing Director & CEO for Goodricke Group of Companies. .He has served the Indian Tea Industry as Chairman of ITA & Chairman TRA. Has been the founder trustee of Tea Vision Trust.
Mr. Bhargava serves as CEO of Tea Vision Trust. He has been the past Managing Director of Apeejay Tea and carries with him 40 years of tea industry experience. He has also been the past Chairman of the Indian Tea Association from 2015-2017.
